Years of experience in audio adverting  have shown us that creators consistently face three core challenges - challenges our technology has been designed to solve:

Before Echometrix, there was no industry standard or direct measurement of audio attention.

 

Current audio metrics (e.g. impressions and reach) measure exposure but don’t reflect actual engagement. There is currently no metric to measure if people are actually listening to audio content or if the key message is cutting through.  

Creative decisions in audio are higher risk and largely  uninformed.

 

Visual attention metrics use science backed insights to pre-test creative and reduce risk. However, audio material is created relying only on instinct, past experience, or post-campaign results to judge effectiveness. Current A/B testing is slow, costly and can only happen post-launch. 

There is underinvestment in audio. 

 

Despite audio ads being proven to be an incredibly effective marketing tool, marketing teams struggle to justify audio budget against other channels such as video where attention metrics are more reliable. The lack of certainty in campaign effectiveness weakens confidence in audio as a channel.
